Life is everywhere
I was trying to figure out my emotions after watching a theatrical performance «Life is Everywhere!» by Yegor Druzhinin. I caught myself feeling as if my substance has been filtered, and it became cleaner. Then again, I always get that feeling when I am confronted with real art.
Post-war period. Fifteen single women and six men. All very different people, and at the same time they are all united by the desire to be happy. Only one word was said during the entire performance as the story was told in the language of plasticity, mime, and dance performed by the dramatic actors.
I could too be in this story, if I was born earlier, or maybe one of my ancestors could be a prototype? Where did this complete understanding of the situation came from when there was nothing on the stage with gypsy tunes playing in the background? Was it genetic memory or the skill of the Artist?
