Business ideas out loud. On investment guarantees
Traditionally, when attracting financial resources into a business, a quesiton arises from the investor: «What guarantees can you offer?» It's hard not to notice even for a non-professional that assurance in assets is formally significant, but in fact… any material asset could be derived with the will and the wish, and crises make illiquid even the most reliable in the recent past real estate. Then what kind of guarantees can the investors have? In my opinion, there can be only one guarantee – effectively working and effectively managed business. In this scenario, even temporary losses in transactions could be worked out, while keeping the key assets – the team and the investor’s trust. Therefore, investors and business owners have to be unanimous in understanding the guarantees – there has to be confidence that the existing management team will fulfill the invested resources, and the result is guaranteed to be positive for all parties. If there is no effective management – there can be no guarantees. So the conclusion is obvious on how and what should the business owners and top management do in order to have investments and to sleep peacefully at night.
