On September 17th 2009 within the limits of International specialized exhibition AGROSALON (MEC ”Krokus Expo”) a Round Table “Innovations as a basis to form competitive agribusiness in Russia”. Organizer and moderator: Konstantin Smolentsev, Head of a working group “Innovations in agribusiness” of an All-Russia Public Organization “Business Russia”, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IC “SMOLENTSEV and Partners”, Ph.D., Academician of IIA, CMC, Member of Association of Independent Directors. One of the most necessary conditions for competitiveness is implementing into Russian agribusiness stable innovational character. Realization of this program requires active and coordinated actions of the government, professional associations and unions, agricultural enterprises themselves and all interested organizations. At the Round Table following questions are expected to be discussed:
- What restrains Russian agribusiness?
- Innovational decisions in practice
- Investment appeal of agribusiness. What is necessary for stable mutually advantageous cooperation of financial institutes and agricultural enterprises? To discuss these questions were invited: heads and specialists of agricultural companies, farmers, analysts, authorities of the government rule, heads of professional associations, banks, investment, leasing and insurance companies, producers of agricultural machinery, means of plants’ protection and fertilizers.
