In All-Russian public organization “Business Russia” a meeting has been carried out by the organizational committee to establish a work group on agribusiness. Representatives of “Business Russia” have participated in the meeting: Head of Executive Committee N.A. Ostrakov, Director of project coordination Y.V.Egorov, branch expert A.V.Maevsky and representatives of business circles: Head of the Work group – Ph.D., Academician of IIA, CMC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IC “SMOLENTSEV and Partners” K.Y.Smolentsev, Head of farm and owner of federal Internet-portal on agribusiness Fermer.ru A.E.Volozhanin, General Director of “Chernozemie-INTEKO” Ltd. Y.D.Gulyansky, General Director of JSC “AgroLiga Rossii” S.D.Dolaberidze, Director of TH “Altay Fermer” Ltd. (Association of country farms of Altay region) E.A.Larionov, CEO “KLAD Corp.” D.K.Smolentseva, Deputy Head of Representation of Government of the Jewish autonomous region at the Government of the Russian Federation c.p.s. N.P.Shubkina. Members of the organizing committee discussed questions in regards of strategy development for Russian agribusiness, activation of constructive cooperation between business circles and federal and regional authorities, goals and problems of work group activity, main goals and work plan. It has been noted, that the work group is ought to become a fully operational active body connecting business and authorities on most important agrarian business and social questions. Nearest plans of the working group are as following: - To carry out a regional conference “Siberian bread” in Altay;
- To prepare offers for the Government of the Russian Federation and regional authorities on Siberian and Far East agrarian policies;
- To carry out seminars “Using modern financial tools in activity of agrarian enterprises”, “Partnership of banks and agrarian enterprises”, “Using effective management systems in agribusiness” together with professional agrarian associations, consulting companies and banks;
- To carry out a round table “Strategy of forming competent Russian agribusiness. Partnership of authorities and business”;
- To carry out Russia-Canada round table “Effective government management in agribusiness” for heads of ministries and departments of agriculture of federal and regional authorities;
- To participate in a round table of “Business Russia” on concept formation of finance-credit sphere and several other events.
Representatives of state bodies and a large amount of agro enterprises, banks and other sectors of economy related to agriculture have expressed their support in the creation of the work group on agribusiness.
