The Academician of IIA Konstantin
Y. Smolentsev became a Laureate of the international
competition "Elite of the informationologists of
the world 2003", which was held by the International Informatization Academy (IIA).
With support of the headers of states and
governments, International Informatization Academy is
registered as a public educational and scientific organization in Byelorussia,
Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia,
Netherlands, Russia, USA, Ukraine, France, Switzerland and many other countries
(with the rights of departments of IIA).
In 1995 International Informatization Academy got the General Consulting Status of Economic and Social Council of UN.
This is a precedent in the history of academies of the world. This means, that
leadership of Academy can attend and represent IIA, its structures, scientific
programs and IIA members at the most important events of UN, attend meetings of
any commissions, committees, departments and also meetings of UN General
Assemblies.
