In the framework of a project for international economic and investment cooperation Ph.D., the Academician of IIA Konstantin Y. Smolentsev representing the interest of an agricultural holding “AgroINTEL” together with its General Director A.N. Chalkov has carried out a presentation of the holding for Canadian companies and government organizations interested in cooperation. Delegation has visited the following cities: Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Brandon, Morden, Moos Jaw and Indian Head. The visit was well organized and carried out by company AgriProvince Inc. (D. Smolentseva). Priceless assistance in the organization of the visit has been offered by the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (T. Mrshall, R. Sobkow) and the Manitoba Trade and Investment (B. Havixbeck, L. Lowes). From the Canadian side the following companies took part in negotiations: Agricultural and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Farm Pure, South Country Equipment Ltd., Simpson Seeds, Conserva Pak, Jay Dee Equipment, Saskatchewan Agricultural, Food and Rural Revitalization (SAFRR), Morris Industries Ltd., Morden Research Center, MacDon Industries Ltd., Canterra Seeds. While attending the largest Canadian agricultural indoor show Ag Days the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives MLA for Swan River Rosann Wowchuk has given a dinner in honor of the Russia delegation. During the dinner there has been a very interesting conversation on the topic of signing concrete agreements between Group of Companies "AgroIntel" and companies from the province of Manitoba. Delegation also received an invitation for participation in the next show and presentation on the perspectives of doing business with Russian companies.
