Observations of a political scientist and a person
Being a political scientist and a person, I have the opportunity to participate in many political events in different countries. I was a witness of the first foreign visit of the President of the United States Barack Obama to Ottawa, and just now SIC Summit in Chisinau. And what is noticeable is: the more democratic the society is, the less problems are caused for regular citizens by security, moreover without any threat to the important persons as well. Immediately a one of my favorite phrases comes to mind by one of the greatest Russian actresses Faina Ranevskaya: «Against who are we friends, girls?» ;) Konstantin Y. Smolentsev
