GreenOffOn (Eco Social Community) was born organically, as a natural progression of a team of like-minded people wanting to protect our planet, make the world a healthier, more eco secure, and a more comfortable for living place.
It is obvious that to achieve such a grand mission is very hard for a small group of people. But any change is possible and effective when a critical mass of ideas, desire, and action accumulates.
GreenOffOn realizes the objective need for joint efforts of people and organizations to create a synergy effect, which in turn, can actively support sustainable development of mankind for the sake of a better future for everyone on the planet Earth.

Откупорил очередную бутылку вина с района Ниагарского водопада, и друзья спросили меня: «Скажи, пожалуйста, что похожего и разного между Британской Колумбией и районом Ниагарского водопада, что красивее?» Пригубил вино: «Сложный вопрос. Даже сама Британская Колумбия очень разная и непохожая друг на друга своими районами». «Ну, хоть что-то, хоть несколько черт?» – уговаривали друзья. Призадумался. Сравнивать вообще никого и ничего не в моих правилах. Что отличает каждое явление природы и рук человеческих? Ну, если так поставить вопрос…

Завораживающая, сказочная красота богатой и разнообразной природы Британской Колумбии с трудом поддаётся описанию словами. Зная, что озеро Онтарио, в которое впадает река Ниагара, имеет в длину более трёхсот километров, в ширину – чуть менее ста километров, а в глубину

почти двести пятьдесят метров, всё равно не перестаёшь удивляться размерами озера, более воспринимающегося как море, проезжая несколько часов вдоль берега и не видя противоположных берегов.
Vancouver – портовый город, знающий себе цену, город-сад, гостеприимный город с раскосыми глазами. Niagara Falls в моём восприятии – резервация отелей, осколок Лас-Вегаса с казино, цветными фонтанами, лимузинами для проигравшихся авантюристов, ежедневным безумным трюком канатоходца на неописуемой высоте, город с откровенным итальянским акцентом.
В общем, поднял тост я бокалом вина Британской Колумбии, эти два региона Канады – как два удивительно вкусных, но очень разных вина, стоит обязательно попробовать оба! |

Judging by how often in recent days the name of the former Russian woman – novelist and creator of the philosophy of Objectivism Alisa Zinov'yevna Rosenbaum (Ayn Rand) is mentioned in the American media in connection to the presidential race in the United States, you do not stop to wonder how real and strong the influence is of her opinions on the political life and world views of our contemporaries. And I am no exception. One regret I have is that I became acquainted with her work later in life. But better late than never, right? |
