Dec 3, 2013 Canada’s Approval of GM Fish Eggs Threatens Environment / PETITION AGAINST GM SALMON PRODUCTION

Dear Minister Aglukkaq,

I am writing to express my opposition to your decision to allow the
production of genetically modified (GM) fish eggs in Prince Edward Island.

The small U.S. company AquaBounty wants to send all of its GM Atlantic
salmon eggs from Prince Edward Island to Panama for growing out and
processing, to send the fish into the US consumer market. This plan is
extremely risky for Canada and the rest of the world.

Its unacceptable that the entire process for assessing the environmental
risk was secret and that the public had no chance to be involved or
consulted.

Canada has an international responsibility to stop this living pollution.
Please reverse this decision and make sure that Environment Canada does not
approve the production of GM salmon or any other GM fish in Canada. The
risk to Atlantic salmon and our environment is too great.

I urge you to take immediate action to stop GM salmon in order to protect
endangered wild Atlantic salmon.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue.

Sincerely,
Konstantin Smolentsev

Nov 13, 2013 Is it hard to be a GreenOffOn evangelist?
I was never a «good boy» in business, nor in my private life. And I always tried to avoid bringing my professional passions into my private life – this was my unspoken rule. A partial deformation of that rule came several years ago when business owners started inviting me as an Advisor – and a door opened to the opportunity of learning more from the mistakes of others.

I'm used to change my projects in ways that I feel necessary, but it turned out, that GreenOffOn is changing me.

Oct 24, 2013 Attractiveness and uniqueness
Business owners need to regularly assess their businesses from an investor's point of view. Whether or not the business is interested in attracting investments or continuing to develop on their own is not important. The approach of assessing investment attractiveness of your business is extremely useful in making significant corrections to your path of development, it minimizes risks and increases general appeal for employees and clients. It is vital to focus on major points of growth, they can help business stand out amongst competitors and create an image of uniqueness.
