 Interesting fact. A long time ago the English fought off Canada from the French. And today in the Canadian province Quebec as a whole, and specifically in its capital Quebec city, everyone speaks French, not to mention road signs and restaurant menus. And that is in tolerant, officially bilingual Canada in the era of globalization. And it doesn’t matter that the city has monuments to Roosevelt, Gandhi, Churchill, Confucius, and too many other politicians and philosophers, composers and athletes of all times and of all nations.
